We are half way through our 2008 family vacation. Since we didn't get to take a vacation last year we decided to do something fun this year. Along with Grandma, PopPop, Aunt Tracy & Uncle Clay we headed down to Corolla, NC. After a long car ride (8 hours) we finally made it. The first few days were nice and sunny. Austin enjoyed the beach - sand and swimming. This was Shelby's first beach experience. She is not a big fan. But by the end of the morning she was finally touching the sand.
Day 1- At the beach - Austin loved the sand
He was a little scared of the water at first
But was jumping waves with Daddy in no time

Day 2 - at the beach - Shelby, not a big fan of sand

Eventually Shelby was 'ok' with the water & sand
Shelby napped through our trip to the beach on Day 1 but enjoyed the pool
