Weekend Update

This weekend the 4 of us took a trip to NJ. It was a quick trip and silly me didn't take a single picture. So here is a quick update. We arrived late Friday. Saturday started with a visit to see Kelly, Anthony, Mrs. and Mr. Z. Austin and Shelby both enjoyed checking out the new indoor pool. We headed back to Grandma & Grandpa's house so Shelby could take a quick nap before we headed off to Uncle Corey and Aunt Molly's engagement party. (This was the main point of the trip). Austin fell asleep on the drive over so Shelby & Mommy headed in to the party while Daddy sat in the car with Austin. When we got inside Aunt Molly had a suprise for both Shelby & Mommy. We each had a little present to open. Aunt Molly has asked us both to be in the wedding. Of course we both said yes - even though Shelby only shook her head 'no' - she has yet to say 'yes.' This wasn't the end of the presents. Aunt Molly & Uncle Corey had presents for the two nephews - Austin & Timmy. They each received a little pillow and will be the two ring bearers at the wedding. Both boys seemed unphased and were more excited about the cookie attached to the pillow. Oh well. Just a side note (for you Molly) - Austin is excited and keeps talking about holding a pillow that will have Molly's ring on it. We have one year to practice so I'm sure both Austin and Shelby will be ready for the big day. To make the wedding a full family affair Corey has also asked Jeremy to be one of the groomsmen. Even with all of the presents from Molly & Corey the highlight of the party had to be Austin & Timmy dancing in the family room. Music was playing on the TV and the two boys took the opportunity to entertain the crowd - they really enjoyed themselves - watch out guys, they may steal the show at the reception (just kidding). We love you Corey & Molly and are honored that you asked us all to be part of your big day!!!
