Visit with Santa

Our visit with Santa did not go as well as expected. Both Austin and Shelby waited patiently in line. They waved at Santa and both seemed generally excited. Even Shelby was saying "ho, ho, ho" so we thought she would be fine. When it was finally our turn Austin told Santa what he wanted while Shelby held on tight to Daddy. We tried putting her on his lap and she just screamed! Geez! She was better last year at 6 months old. So this year it is just Santa and Austin. I guess no Santa presents for Shelby.

They took a picture of her screaming but it wasn't worth keeping Austin sat nicely chatting with Santa about the new excavator he wanted
Austin's reward for sitting nicely with Santa was riding the train that was part of the Christmas display at the mall. He sat in the front and rang the bell. That poor other little boy never had a chance.
